Rooted is a personal project created to help believers grow in their understanding of Scripture. It is designed to provide simple, accessible Bible study tools that focus on teaching, reproof, correction, and training in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16–17). The goal is to help individuals draw closer to Christ through thoughtful study, prayer, and reflection.
How Rooted Works
Scripture is believed to be living and active, and the Holy Spirit uses God's Word to teach, reprove, correct, and train believers in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16–17). Rooted is built on a Christ-centered, Scripture-focused approach to Bible study:
The Authority of Scripture: God's Word is the ultimate source of truth and guidance for faith and practice.
The Centrality of Christ: All Scripture points to Jesus and His redemptive work. Every passage is understood in light of the Gospel.
The Work of the Holy Spirit: The Spirit illuminates Scripture and applies God's Word to our hearts and lives.
Practical Application: Bible study should lead to transformation—changed hearts, renewed minds, and obedient lives.
The Four Growth Areas
Rooted's Growth Tracks are based on 2 Timothy 3:16–17, which describes Scripture as useful for:
Teaching: Building a solid foundation of biblical doctrine and understanding.
Reproof: Lovingly confronting sin, error, and wrong attitudes in our hearts.
Correction: Showing us the right path after God exposes what is wrong.
Training in Righteousness: Shaping our daily habits to live a holy, obedient life.
About The Table with Jamestall Jr.
The Table with Jamestall Jr. is not a formal ministry, organization, or community. It is simply a personal space where reflections, insights, and Scripture-based thoughts are shared from a daily walk with Christ. The desire is to help others grow closer to God through His Word and to encourage believers in their life of faith.
